Starlink Installation

Connect to high-speed internet no matter where you are. Quinte West Starlink installation services connect you to the Starlink satellite network.

What is Starlink?

Starlink uses satellites in space that send and receive signals. With unlimited data, above broadband speeds for most plans and less latency than most satellite internet providers, it’s the perfect way to enjoy internet, whenever and wherever.

Accessible. For All.

No matter where you are on Earth, if you have a Starlink receiver (the small dish that talks to the satellites), you can connect to the internet using the satellites in space.

It helps people in remote areas or places with slow or no internet access to connect and use the internet.

Anyone can use Starlink, including:

  • Residential
  • Construction
  • Warehouses
  • Storefronts
  • Cottages

Frequently Asked Questions

When investing in Starlink, never settle and cut corners on the quality of the installation.

Where do you plan to mount the Starlink dish?

To work effectively, the Starlink dish must be in a clear unobstructed view of the sky. When programming the dish, it will tilt to connect with the closest hemisphere. Trees and buildings will impact on the view, so we recommend having it installed on top of your property or on a base pole.

What are the square feet of the property?

Review how large the property is, how many floors, walls and the materials it’s built with. An average distance from the router to the dish is 75 ft.

How do you plan to run the cables into the property?

Between the dish and the router, how will you connect the cables? You will need to drill a minimum 3 ¼ inch hole through the exterior wall. Depending on the property’s material, you will require different routing kits. If you have a solid concrete, masonry, or stucco, drilling can be “a pain in the ass.” This is where a professional can help with getting cables professionally run under floors, through baseboards and climb the roof.
